PARSOL Member Updates
Program Description
PARSOL Member Updates is the text messaging program operated by the Pennsylvania Association for Rational Sexual Offense Laws (PARSOL). This program sends SMS messages to PARSOL members who have explicitly opted in to receive text communications. Messages may include legislative alerts, advocacy updates, event reminders, organizational announcements, and urgent action items related to PARSOL’s criminal justice reform mission in Pennsylvania.
Who Can Participate
This SMS program is available to PARSOL members who opt in during the membership registration process. Participation is voluntary and is not required for membership. You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States to participate.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to PARSOL Member Updates by checking the SMS opt-in checkbox on the PARSOL membership registration form at secure.parsol.org. The checkbox is unchecked by default. By checking it, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from PARSOL at the mobile number you provide.
Message Frequency
Members receive a monthly newsletter update plus additional messages as needed for urgent legislative alerts or time-sensitive advocacy actions. Message frequency varies and may be higher during active legislative sessions.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. PARSOL does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates will apply to all messages sent and received. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
How to Opt Out
You may cancel your participation in PARSOL Member Updates at any time. To opt out, reply STOP to any PARSOL text message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-subscribe at any time, reply START.
Other accepted opt-out keywords: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.
